All Harvest Moon Products Are Plastic Neutral by rePurpose Global
This means that Harvest Moon funds the removal of as much plastic from the environment as it uses in its packaging.
Project Segara Kerthi
Supporting Reef Protection in Bali
As part of our plastic-neutral certification, we support Project Segara Kerthi, a vital initiative aimed at protecting Bali’s vibrant coral reefs. Indonesia is one of the world’s largest contributors to ocean plastic pollution. Bali’s marine ecosystems are especially vulnerable due to the high volume of plastic waste entering its coastal waters.
How It Works
Plastic Collection: Focuses on retrieving neglected plastic—especially plastic bags—through a network of informal and semi-formal waste collectors.
Ocean Impact: Prevents plastic waste from reaching the ocean, directly reducing pollution in critical marine environments.
Community Empowerment: Supports local communities by offering waste collectors training, safer working conditions, and improved income
Circular Economy: Collected recyclable plastics are processed at certified facilities and either resold or repurposed, contributing to a sustainable materials cycle.
Our Impact
By supporting Project Segara Kerthi, we help tackle one of the most urgent environmental challenges facing Indonesia: plastic waste entering the ocean. Our partnership enables the collection of low-value, often overlooked plastics—like plastic bags and sachets—that are typically not recovered by formal waste systems. These materials are intercepted before they pollute Bali’s coastlines or damage its delicate coral reefs.
